🔬 What You Get
One sheet containing 73 laser-cut bugloss-style leaves in assorted sizes. Each leaf is printed with a naturalistic pale green base colour and prominent dark vein patterning, giving a convincing woodland undergrowth look straight from the sheet. The heart-shaped leaf profile is distinctive and immediately recognisable as a broad-leaved shade plant.
The leaves lift cleanly off the carrier sheet and can be gently curved with your fingers to add natural dimension. Packaged in a clear blister to protect the sheet during shipping.
🎯 Best Used For
Most effective on 28mm+ bases, character models and scenic terrain where the broad leaf shape has room to sit naturally. On smaller bases, one or two leaves as accent foliage still work well — just avoid overcrowding.

💡 Pro Tips from the Community
🔧 Curve every leaf. Even a slight bend transforms these from flat cut-outs into convincing undergrowth. Curl the edges down or cup the leaf gently — it takes seconds per piece.
🎨 Accent, not carpet. Two or three well-placed bugloss leaves per base look natural. Covering an entire base with them defeats the purpose — they work as feature plants among tufts, moss and other texture.
🧴 Matte varnish to blend. If the printed finish looks slightly glossy against a matte-painted base, a coat of matte varnish brings everything into the same visual register.
🔨 CA glue for gaming pieces. Superglue gives a much stronger bond than PVA, especially important when leaves stick up from the base and might snag during transport or play.
⚠️ Worth Knowing
Woodland, not desert or sci-fi. These are naturalistic, muted-green broad leaves. They suit cool, damp, shaded environments. If your project is arid, tropical or alien-themed, other Laser Plants in the range will fit better.
Flat without shaping. Straight off the sheet, the leaves look two-dimensional. A few seconds of gentle bending per leaf is the difference between a convincing plant and an obvious flat cut-out. Do not skip this step.
Not fully 3D. These are printed and laser-cut, not sculpted resin. For extreme close-up display photography they may lack the volume of a resin plant. At tabletop distance and in terrain work, they look excellent.
Not a toy. Contains small parts. A modelling accessory intended for use with tweezers, adhesives and varnishes. Not suitable for young children.
