SERIE 402

A mixture of sable and synthetic mixed together to perhaps offer the best of both worlds. Sable holds the liquid/pigment and the synthetic offers the spring and durability, whilst maintaining a favourable price. A good all-rounder for Watercolours, Oils and Acrylics.


The Series 402 are tapered to a much longer and finer point allowing the artist to ‘draw’ with a brush. They are ideal for general watercolour work as well as botanical. The Red Sable Blends are hard-wearing for oils and acrylics too.


A favourite for all mediums as a general-purpose good all-rounder brush.

Series 401 excellent brush

I use these Rosemary brushes for watercolour painting and I had a series 402 with a long point but also wanted this 401, which just has a traditional point for more general use. These sable synthetic mix are a great price and quality, also really nice to use.
