Winter XL uses a very pale mix with traces of dark green and brown to represent frozen tall grasses and herbs in very cold climates. At 12 mm these are the tallest tufts in the Gamers Grass range, so the sheet prioritises height over sheer coverage: around 36 larger pieces rather than a dense field of small clumps. The varied light and dark tones add both height and colour variation to bases and dioramas.
Wild XL is the single shape available for this format.
Take the tufts from the sheet individually; each one is ready for placement.
Tweezers make removal easier, and a little PVA gives a tougher, more permanent fixing.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
