Winter 5 mm Wild tufts combine predominantly very light colours with remaining traces of dark green and brown. The result is made for frozen plants and for habitats with very cold climates, from tundra with scarce grassland to seasonal cold winter scenes. Winter is stocked at two heights, and this 5 mm sheet is the shorter of them: around 70 tufts here, where the 12 mm Winter XL sheet holds roughly 36 far bigger ones and comes only as Wild XL.

Our Wild sheets at 4 mm and 6 mm carry the same approximate count.
The Small version of this colour and height holds roughly 144 tufts.
You can remove every tuft separately and use it directly from the sheet.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
