Spikey Winter represents frozen prickly vegetation, using white, long-branched tufts for very cold climates and seasonal winter ground. Dense ramification gives the pieces an upright shrub structure, so the plant shape remains distinct within a pale setting. One printed sheet carries around 70 pieces in assorted shapes and sizes for separate placement.
Each tuft arrives coloured and can be lifted separately, with tweezers for extra control.
A little PVA can be used when tougher permanent fixing is needed.
Combining other sizes and colours introduces variation in structure and colour.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
