🤖 55mm is used in Infinity by Corvus Belli for TAGs and larger units. Also ideal as an "in-between" size - when 50mm feels cramped but 60mm looks too empty.
🔓 Open Basing System (OBS)
Tired of corporations dictating base sizes? OBS gives you the freedom to base your models however you want. We make sizes hobbyists actually ask for - not what some company decides you need this edition.

Won't warp
Primer & paint
CA & plastic cement
⚠️ About FDM Printing
Seams: FDM prints have a visible "Z-seam" - a thin vertical line on the base edge where each layer starts. This is not a defect, it's normal.
Layer lines: Subtle horizontal lines may be visible. These largely disappear after priming.
💡 For glass-smooth display pieces, resin might suit you better. For gaming armies, these work brilliantly.
🛠️ Prep Tips
- Wash with soap & water before priming
- Prime with Vallejo, Army Painter, or Citadel spray
- Sand with 400-600 grit if ultra-smooth needed
- Base with texture paste, sand, tufts - all adhere well
❓ FAQ
How does 55mm compare to 50mm and 60mm?
10% larger than 50mm, 8% smaller than 60mm. Enough extra room for scenic basing without feeling oversized.
Do I need to prime them?
Highly recommended. Acrylic paint on unprimed PETG can scratch off.
Can I drill pin holes?
Yes, PETG drills cleanly. Use a pin vice and go slowly.
