AK PlayMarkers place acrylic modelling paint in a pen-style tool for direct tabletop and miniature painting without a separate palette or brush. A push-button pump at the rear primes paint into the flexible pointed brush tip, which can follow raised detail or cover broader areas. The 34 colours span standard, skin, natural and metallic shades, supporting base colour, layering and blended effects across figures and small model parts.
- The fast-drying formula becomes water-resistant and heat-resistant after drying.
- The paint adheres to plastic, resin, metal and wood.
- A white primer is recommended before applying the colours.
- The finish is matt, although some metallic colours may appear slightly satin.
- Dried PlayMarker paint can be covered with any type of varnish.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
