Vallejo Still Water 26.230 is a self-leveling transparent liquid supplied in a 200 ml pot, designed for reproducing calm, still water on dioramas and bases. It flows evenly across irregular surfaces and can be tinted to create greenish pools, muddy puddles or brownish river water. A layer of Transparent Water gel can be added on top to simulate surface movement. Vallejo recommends applying in layers no thicker than 3 mm to avoid cracks or bubbles during drying.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
