Why this airbrush

A genuinely beginner-friendly airbrush — the 0.3 mm setup gives a forgiving, predictable spray while you find your feet, with smooth dual-action control.

Floating nozzle system — a feature usually found on pricier airbrushes. It protects the needle tip, resists clogging and makes cleaning quick.

Solid, ergonomic body — comfortable through long sessions and reassuringly well-built without being heavy.

9 ml gravity cup — well sized for miniatures, busts, terrain and small vehicle parts.

Quick-release 1/8" connector — clip on and off your hose in a second, with an independent dual-action gravity feed.

About the EasyAir

The EasyAir is the entry point to Vallejo’s new airbrush line — built for anyone starting out, but reliable enough to keep using long after. It has a solid, ergonomic body and an intuitive independent dual-action gravity-feed system that responds smoothly to small finger movements, so controlling air and paint feels natural from the first session.

It carries a floating nozzle, which is unusual at this level: it protects the needle tip, keeps the spray consistent and lets you strip the airbrush down for cleaning without wrestling tiny threaded parts. That makes maintenance quick — a real help when you’re still learning the routine.

The single 0.3 mm needle/nozzle is the true do-everything size: primers, basecoats, pre-shading and soft gradients on miniatures, models and 3D prints. It pairs well with Model Air, Game Air and Premium Air straight from the bottle, with a little thinning where needed.

Who it’s for

Aimed at newcomers to airbrushing and anyone wanting a dependable everyday airbrush for miniatures, figures, scale models, terrain and 3D prints. It connects to any standard 1/8" BSP hose, so it fits most compressor setups. Forgiving enough for a first try, consistent enough to keep reaching for. If you want the very finest lines or a choice of nozzle sizes, the Profinish (0.2 & 0.3 mm, three cups) or Innovator (on-body air pressure control) step up from here. Note: a hose and compressor are not included.

Getting the most from it

The 0.3 mm is the do-everything size — primers, basecoats, pre-shading and soft gradients all sit well within its range.

Start around 15–20 PSI and adjust to taste once the spray feels stable.

Thin acrylics to roughly milk consistency — most Model Air and Game Air shades spray with little or no thinning.

The floating nozzle makes cleaning quick — strip down and back-flush between colours and at the end of a session.

Pair it with a 1/8" BSP hose and a compressor with a tank and regulator.

What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?

0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.

Do I need a compressor with a tank?

A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.

How do I keep an airbrush working well?

Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
