Vallejo Wild Tuft Light Green SC417 holds 35 tufts on a peel-off backing sheet, each reaching 6mm high. The Light Green colour suits spring meadows, fresh roadside growth and younger vegetation around woodland or rural scenery. Distribute the tufts individually for scattered grass or group them to build more continuous patches along terrain edges. Each piece lifts separately, and PVA glue may be used when a stronger permanent bond is needed.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
