Vallejo Wild Tuft Dry Green SC424 supplies 17 self-adhesive Extra Large tufts at 12mm height. The Dry Green colouring fits arid grasslands, scrub and vegetation that has partly lost its fresh summer tone. Their tall profile works for unkempt grass and overgrown terrain edges, while individual pieces can be spaced around rocks or grouped into thicker growth. Peel and place each tuft from the backing, adding PVA glue when a more permanent bond is needed.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
