Tamiya Weathering Master Set C 87085 contains three dry pigment pans in a hinged compact case, plus a small applicator. Rub the applicator across a pan and apply directly to a painted model surface — the dry pigments blend smoothly and build up gradually, so you can control the effect as you go. No mixing, no drying time. Set C covers Orange Rust (red-tinted oxidation), Gun Metal (unpolished metal wear) and Silver (polished metal highlights).
Apply dry — rub onto painted surfaces, blend with a brush or finger
Seal with a clear coat to fix the weathering in place

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
