Tamiya 87167 depicts irregular stone paving built from pieces that vary in both shape and size. Unlike fan-laid or coursed patterns, Stone Paving C distributes the stones randomly while retaining neatly controlled joints between them. Its raised surface is printed onto coloured craft paper for use as paths, courtyards and other paved groundwork in 1/35, 1/24 and 1/20 scale dioramas. Further painting can alter the stone and joint colours.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
