Part of the flat-finish Acrylic Mini series, Tamiya XF-80 Naval Sea Grey is supplied in a 10 ml jar. Well suited to uniforms, equipment and ground surfaces where a subdued, realistic finish is needed. Apply by brush for detail work or thin with water for airbrushing over larger areas.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
