Tamiya X-27 Clear Red is a transparent 10 ml acrylic for brake lamp lenses and rear light clusters on scale vehicle models. Apply it over clear or chrome parts to produce a red-tinted translucent surface that reads as a tail light or stop lamp from any viewing angle.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
