Tamiya X-10 Gun Metal is a 10 ml metallic acrylic for dark steel effects on scale models and miniatures. Its colour is intended for areas such as steel plate and gun barrels, where a dark metallic tone is required instead of bright silver. It can be applied by brush to selected fittings or sprayed through an airbrush across larger mechanical surfaces.

- Water-soluble acrylic resin base; thins and cleans up with water.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
