Scale75 Inktense Brown is a transparent acrylic ink with a brown-black tone, intended for glazing and intensifying colour on painted miniatures and models. Its high pigmentation adds tonal depth without concealing the established basecoat and shading beneath it. This distinguishes it from regular opaque acrylic paint, which is generally used to build solid colour coverage. The ink dries to a satin finish and works with either a brush or an airbrush.

Supplied in a 17 ml dropper bottle.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
