What makes this brush special
A bristle-style long flat should feel springy in a resilient, slightly resistant way. It pushes back against the surface, which helps it move heavier paint and leave intentional marks. The longer flat edge can still be used for coverage, but the brush is more about force and texture than finesse. - The visible length of the brush hairs, measured from the ferrule to the tip.
- Belly Diameter
- The widest point of the brush head. On round brushes, this is the widest part of the belly.
- Total Length
- The full measurement from the tip of the brush to the end of the handle.
How to care for your brush
Clean promptly after use, especially when working with acrylic or texture mediums that can harden in the bristles. Use lukewarm water and a solid brush soap, working the cleaner through the full length of the fibres. Reshape the flat edge but do not expect the brush to maintain a hair-like point; its strength is its stiffness.
