A Kolinsky sable filbert for soft blending, rounded marks, and controlled transitions.
What makes this brush special
A filbert feels rounded and adaptable. The brush opens slightly under pressure, then closes back to a neat edge, which makes it excellent for marks that need both coverage and softness. The Kolinsky hair should feel fluid rather than stiff, with enough belly to carry paint through a few smooth passes. The stroke tends to look softer than a flat and more controlled than a wash brush. - The widest point of the brush head. On round brushes, this is the widest part of the belly.

- The full measurement from the tip of the brush to the end of the handle.
How to care for your brush
Clean with lukewarm water and a gentle soap immediately after use, especially if the brush has been used for oils or acrylics. Do not let paint dry into the rounded tip, as the filbert shape depends on a clean, even edge. Reshape after washing and store so the hair is not crushed sideways.
