Synthetic precision round for controlled detail work. Fine point with firm snap.
The Raphael Precision 8524 is a synthetic pointed round designed for precision detail work. Part of Raphael's Precision range, it features a fine synthetic tip with firm snap-back, making it well suited to controlled line work, detail painting, and illustrative techniques.
The 8524 sits between the 8504 (Kolinsky imitation) and budget synthetics in terms of feel — it has a crisper, more purposeful point designed specifically for precision applications rather than all-round versatility. For miniature painters needing an affordable detail brush, or illustrators doing pen-like line work, the 8524 delivers reliable performance.

How to care for your brush
Rinse after use, clean with brush soap occasionally. Synthetic fibres are durable but the fine tip benefits from careful handling. Reshape after washing. Avoid pressing hard enough to permanently bend the tip. Good value means easy replacement when the point eventually wears.
