KT202 Airbrush Retarder Thinner is the 210 ml full-size version of the KT102 formula. It combines thinning with a retarder that slows the drying process, helping to reduce tip dry and giving the sprayed paint more time to self-level. It is added sparingly to the colour cup rather than used at the higher ratio specified for the standard thinner.
Recommended dose: 1–2 drops per cup load.
Suggested for gloss, pearl, metallic and automotive-colour finishes.
The formulation is water-based, solvent-free and described as non-toxic.
Recommended working and storage temperature: 5–40 °C.

Notes · Q & A
What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?+
0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.
Do I need a compressor with a tank?+
A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.
How do I keep an airbrush working well?+
Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
