GSW Crushed Glass Stones are transparent, non-sharp fragments for adding reflective texture to miniature bases, terrain and dioramas. The 1–2 mm and 2–4 mm grades suit scattered ice, broken-glass detail and smaller mineral deposits, while the 25–35 mm pieces create prominent crystals and scenic focal points. Their transparency allows coloured inks or LED lighting to remain visible through the material.
Fine variant 14593 contains 50 g of 1–2 mm fragments.
Medium variant 14594 contains 50 g of 2–4 mm fragments.
Large variant 14595 contains 50 g of 25–35 mm fragments.
Colour with transparent inks; GSW recommends its Candy inks.
Fix with clear adhesive, acrylic medium, varnish or cyanoacrylate glue; cyanoacrylate may affect transparency.
Suitable for ice, shattered glass, crystal, gem and glowing-mineral effects.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
