Inside a GHAD-39 or GHAC-98D airbrush, the needle chucking guide is the part that holds the needle and moves it. It keeps the needle secure and in line so it cannot slip while you spray, and it carries the needle backwards and forwards as you work the trigger, which is how the amount of paint leaving the nozzle is controlled. A guide in good order gives smooth needle travel and a consistent spray pattern, and it spares the needle unnecessary stress, including when the airbrush is taken apart for cleaning. This is Gaahleri's own spare, packed separately; the GHAD-68 and Swallowtail use a different guide.
