✅ GHAD-39 (Advanced) · GHAC-98D (Ace) — verify your model before ordering
What Is This?
The C-Type main lever has a smooth, flowing profile designed for a natural rolling motion through the full trigger range — down for air, back for paint. Lower fatigue over long sessions compared to a flat lever; less tendency to catch mid-stroke than the R-Type concave profile.
C-Type vs R-Type
🎛️ C-Type — this product
Smooth, ergonomic profile. Natural rolling motion. Low fatigue for long sessions.
🔵 R-Type (sold separately)
Concave semi-spherical surface. Cups the fingertip. More contact area for fine detail.
When to Replace
⚠️ Surface worn smooth — finger slips during pull-back
⚠️ Physical damage — cracking or deformation
⚠️ Play or rattle in trigger mechanism
⚠️ Switching from R-Type to C-Type profile
⚠️ Heads Up
GHAD-39 and GHAC-98D only. Does not fit other Gaahleri models.
If your airbrush came with an R-Type lever, C-Type fits mechanically but will feel different. Both levers are listed separately.

Notes · Q & A
What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?+
0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.
Do I need a compressor with a tank?+
A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.
How do I keep an airbrush working well?+
Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
