The DSPIAE AT-TVA&B is the complete bench vise set for modellers who want the clamp and weighted base in one box. It combines the 304 stainless steel head with the steel baseplate and its aluminium anti-rust plate, plus eight stainless rods, rubber tubing and the supplied mats. Unlike the component listing, this set arrives with both halves needed to stand and hold a part.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
