The AT-AP "Hobby cube" is DSPIAE's aluminium jig for plastic sheet and rod work. Its slider centres a drill on plastic rod from 1.5 to 10.5 mm for concentric holes, and a second guide drills vertical holes, with a 0–34 mm gauge for spacing. Slots cut at 30°, 45°, 60°, 75° and 90°, or equal strips down to 0.5 mm, up to 44 mm long. It also chamfers sheet edges by 1–10 mm, bevels rod ends, holds two sheets at a set angle while cement dries, and helps sand 1 or 2 mm rod to half-round or triangle section.
Drilling guides take drill bits with a 3.175 mm shank only
The bevelling blade can be replaced with a 6 mm wide blade
62 × 42 × 42 mm, 180 g, anodised aluminium alloy
Hex wrench and manual included; not for under-14s

Notes · Q & A
Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?+
Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?+
Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
How do I keep tools in good condition?+
Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
