The Da Vinci Maestro Series 70 is a Kolinsky sable brush designed specifically for miniature and hobby painters. It uses the same premium Kolinsky Tobolsky sable as the flagship Maestro watercolour brushes but in a short-handle format with proportions optimised for close-up miniature work.
This is Da Vinci's answer to the growing miniature painting market — premium Kolinsky quality in a format that hobby painters actually want. Belly Diameter
The widest point of the brush head. On round brushes, this is the widest part of the belly.

How to care for your brush
Same care as premium Kolinsky: gentle rinse, brush soap, reshape, store protected. The short handle format is robust for hobby use but the natural hair requires the same careful treatment as any Kolinsky brush.
