Tamiya X-2 White is a glossy acrylic from the 10 ml Acrylic Mini range. It delivers a clean, opaque white with a smooth glossy finish and works as both a standalone colour and a reliable base coat for lighter tones. The water-soluble formula thins with water for airbrushing or cleans up easily after brush application.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
