Enamel Product.
The perfect wash for modern aircraft exhausts. This color also works perfectly on scifi models and metallic parts Just shake well before use and you can apply it directly to your model to create depth in the details of the aircraft exhausts and engine parts. This is an enamel product and can be dissolved using our white spirit or ODOURLESS TURPENTINE. We recommend that this product is applied to surfaces that have been painted or varnished with acrylic paint.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
