This newly designed weathering set brings a fresh formula of specialized key ingredients, giving you the most common tones and texture of accumulated rust. Our enamel paints can be applied straight from the bottle, directly onto the chosen areas of your model. Once they are dry, they have the same scale appearance as real crusted rust.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
