AK Interactive Real Colors WWII RAF Aircraft Desert Colors contains three lacquer paints for British aircraft operating under the Desert Scheme during the Second World War. RAF Dark Earth and RAF Middle Stone form the contrasting upper-surface camouflage, while RAF Azure Blue covers the lower surfaces. The selection is intended for modellers working on RAF aircraft deployed primarily in the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations.
- Set contains (3 × 17 ml): RC961 RAF Dark Earth, RC965 RAF Azure Blue, RC966 RAF Middle Stone
- Lacquer-based Real Colors with a soft matt finish, ready for weathering
- Dark Earth and Middle Stone upper surfaces over Azure Blue lower surfaces
- Formulated for airbrush application; thin with RC701 or RC702 (or another lacquer-based thinner)

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
