AK Interactive Orcs and Green Models contains six matt 3rd Generation acrylic colours for green finishes on fantasy figures and accessories. The range moves from dark green-grey and deep green through olive and lighter highlight tones, making it suitable for orcs, goblins and similar creatures. The colours can be mixed to build controlled transitions between shadows, base tones and highlights. They are formulated for brush application with the coverage and adhesion of the 3GEN range and can also be airbrushed after thinning.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
