AK Interactive Night Creatures Flesh Tone contains six matt 3rd Generation acrylic colours for pale, cold and unhealthy-looking flesh on fantasy figures. The selection combines off-white, grey, vampiric flesh, magenta, purple and dirty red for vampires, undead characters and other night creatures. The colours can be mixed to create gradual transitions between light areas, mid-tones and shadows. They are suitable for brush painting and can be airbrushed after thinning.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
