Product overview

AK9127 provides individual holders for small parts during painting and drying. Once a component is held in the jaw, the attached stem gives the modeller a way to reposition it without gripping the painted surface directly. The pointed ends also let the twenty clips stand upright when inserted into a suitable corrugated support.

The pack contains 20 metal alligator-jaw clips with attached wire stems.
Plastic-covered contact points improve grip while reducing the risk of marking held parts.
The pointed stems are designed to fit the AK9100 corrugated base.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
