Odorless acrylic fluid to create Scratches Effects.

Odorless and effective acrylic product to replace hairspray and to do large chipping effects on our models. First we paint our model with a dark color or the color that we want to see under the chipping. Afterwards, we can apply directly from an airbrush giving a generous coat to our model. Afterwards, using an acrylic paint, we can do the large chipping effects. Dampen the surface using a brush and then do the effects using a sharp tool or the same brush. Don’t gamble with any old lacquer and be confident of the result on your model with this new product.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
