AK024 Dark Streaking Grime is the darkest 35 ml enamel streaking colour in this AK range. It is intended for dark vehicles and surfaces, including Panzer Grey, deep green and black finishes. The enamel can also introduce tonal variation beyond distinct downward marks, placing it at the dark end of the streaking range.

  • Shake thoroughly before applying irregular marks with a narrow, pointed brush.
  • Begin near the top of a panel and carry each dark streak down the surface.
  • Wait about 10 minutes, then use a flat brush moistened with White Spirit.
  • Blend with light pressure until the edges and intensity suit the model.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
