AK8061 gives the modeller a plain white camouflage net for a custom finish, sized 160 × 230 mm for modern vehicles in 1:35. Because the material is supplied without a fixed camouflage scheme, it can be painted to match the required setting before being cut, folded or draped across the model. It may also be used in white without additional colour where that suits the chosen scene.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
