AK712 is a 60 ml water-based acrylic thinner, developed for AK Interactive's own acrylics but compatible with other brands too, so it isn't tied to a single paint range. It's described as more than the usual alcohol-and-water thinner: a specially formulated mix for bringing acrylic paint to the right consistency for both brush and airbrush. It is non-toxic and odourless.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
