Cobalt Blue / Faded Navy Blue is a blue artist oil from Abteilung 502, AK Interactive's modelling oil range. AK positions it across three uses: creating colour variations on Panzer Grey, adding depth and light-and-shade on figures wearing blue uniforms, and — on small-scale ships — mixing with other blues over grey hulls to build volume and pick out structures such as the bridge. It appears in AK's Aircraft Effects set. The reduced-oil ABT 502 formula dries matt.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
