Graugrun/Khakibraun camouflage color was introduced in 1941 and used on DAK vehicles operating in North Africa until April 1942. Applied in combination with RAL 8000, it was applied in irregular spots with soft edges covering 1/3 of the vehicle. What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
