What We Changed (And Why)

The 130mm round is a standard size — you've probably seen it before. But standard versions have issues that hobbyists complain about: thin walls that flex, warping over time, wobbling on the table, surface too smooth for basing materials.

We took that feedback and redesigned it. Same 130mm diameter (fully compatible), but built properly.

❌ "Walls too thin, they flex"

✅ 2mm walls — nearly double

❌ "They warp over time"

✅ Reinforced ribs underneath

❌ "Cheap plastic feel"

✅ Premium ABS plastic

❌ "Surface too smooth"

✅ Textured top for grip

⚖️ The trade-off:

More material = more weight. These are heavier than standard bases. Most people see this as a plus (more stable, especially for big models), but worth knowing.

📊 Side-by-Side Comparison

Height 5mm ✓ ~3.4mm

🎮 What's 130mm Used For?

130mm is one of the largest standard round sizes. It's for your biggest, heaviest centrepiece models:

🐉

Massive Monsters

Dragons, Greater Daemons, Titans

🏰

Centrepieces

Display models, dioramas

⚔️

Large Vehicles

Walkers, war machines

✨ Features That Matter

💪 2mm Walls

Nearly double standard thickness. No flex, no bend. Heavy models stay put.

📏 5mm Height

3mm internal space underneath. Room for magnets, even chunky ones.

🔩 Ribbed Underside

Structural ribs prevent warping. Big bases need this — flat ones warp.

🎨 Textured Surface

Glue and basing materials grip better. No need to sand before use.

❓ Quick Answers

Compatible with standard 130mm?

Yes. Same diameter, works with all existing terrain, cases, trays.

Space for magnets?

Yes — 3mm internal space. Enough for standard hobby magnets.

Need to prep before basing?

No. Textured surface takes glue, primer, materials straight away.

Why heavier?

Thicker walls + ribs = more material = more weight. Better stability for big models.

Miniatures in photos are for scale only, not included.
Bases supplied unpainted, ready for your project.

03 OBS FAQs
Can I add magnets underneath OBS bases?

Check the selected option's underside opening and available underside depth in Technical Specifications before choosing magnets. Magnet fit depends on the actual cavity dimensions and the magnet you plan to use, so it should not be assumed to be the same across every base.

How do I choose the right base size?

Start with the base footprint required for your model or game, then confirm the selected option against the Technical Specifications. If you are replacing an existing base, measure it carefully and compare its physical footprint before ordering.

How should I use the technical drawing?

Choose your option first, then use the technical drawing and Technical Specifications to check the physical dimensions of the product. When matching an existing part or accessory, use the drawing rather than relying on the product name alone.

Can I rely on the nominal size alone?

No. Products with similar nominal sizes can have different physical dimensions or fit differently across brands and systems. Check the technical drawing, specifications and any product-specific compatibility note before ordering.
