Tamiya 1/35 German Sd.Kfz 7/1 Flakvierling 35050
The kit proposed by Tamiya includes a plastic model of a German anti-aircraft vehicle on a scale of 1:35.
One of the greatest threats to German armored columns in the initial stage of the war was enemy aviation. Therefore, it was decided to build a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun that would be able to cooperate with armored and motorized units. The vehicle was based on a very good and reliable half-tracked artillery tractor Sd.Kfz. 7, with a quadruple-coupled 2 cm Flakvierling 38 anti-aircraft gun mounted at the rear. The first units were introduced into service in 1940. Self-propelled anti-aircraft guns Sd.Kfz. 7/1 served in anti-aircraft artillery units of the Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe and SS. About 750 of them were produced.
The Tamiya kit allows you to assemble a model of the German 20mm Flakvierling Sd.Kfz self-propelled anti-aircraft gun. 7/1 with a five-person crew. The box contains a chassis element, 7 sprues with model parts, a net, 2 metal axles, rubber tracks and wheels, and decals (allowing for the reconstruction of vehicles from the 24th Panzer Division, Grossdeuschland Division, Herman Göring Panzer Division, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd SS Panzer Division).
Plastic elements should be cut from the frames, adjusted and glued in accordance with the attached assembly instructions. After gluing, paint them with modeling paints. Please remember that some elements require painting before gluing. Then apply the decals included in the kit in accordance with the markings or graphics.
