AK012 Streaking Grime is a 35 ml enamel effect for dirty vertical marks over Dark Yellow, grey and similar model finishes. Although the revised formula may look slightly green inside the bottle, it remains primarily brown after drying. That distinction helps separate the packaged colour from the result intended on the model. Its published themes cover AFVs, aircraft, military subjects and trains.
Shake well, then draw irregular streaks downwards from upper areas with a fine pointed brush.
Leave the enamel for about 10 minutes before beginning to soften it.
Run a clean flat brush with a touch of White Spirit over the marks, applying very little pressure.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
