Tamiya 1/35 German Jagdpanther Late Version Model Kit 35203
The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German tank destroyer in 1:35 scale.
Nashorn and Ferdinand were the first German tank destroyers with a powerful 88 mm gun. Jagdtiger was even bigger and more powerful colossus, and its 128 mm cannon was able to destroy any Allied vehicle. However, none of these vehicles were as good as Jagdpanther’s design. Built on the chassis of Pz.Kpfw V this tank destroyer had all the advantages of the aforementioned structure, and great manoeuvrability and speed. Its low silhouette and angled armour were perfect while defending and allowed for easy masking in ambush. 100 mm sloping front armour was sufficient in clashes with the majority of Allied tanks, and an 88 assured a significant advantage in firepower. All those perks made Jagdpanther an extremely effective tank destroyer. Luckily, not enough of them were built, to be able to turn the tide of the war.
Tamiya plastic model kit includes parts allowing for the assembly of the German Panzerjager Jagdpanther tank destroyer and one crewman. Box includes 2 parts of the hull, 5 sprues with model elements, metal wire, rubber tracks and decals (allows reconstruction of vehicles from either 1., 9. or 31. Armoured Division).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
