Green Stuff World Polymer Clay Machine

Hand-cranked pasta-style roller for polymer clay — 14 cm stainless steel rollers, six thickness levels from 0.5 to 2.5 mm, table-clamped and ready to work. Flat, even sheets every time.

Why sculptors use a clay machine

  • Even, consistent sheets — a uniform thickness across the whole sheet that hand-rolling with a pin can't match.
  • 6 thickness levels (0.5–2.5 mm) — dial in the exact sheet thickness with the side wheel.
  • 14 cm stainless steel rollers — a wide, corrosion-resistant working surface for larger sheets.
  • Conditions clay fast — running clay through repeatedly softens and warms it, ready to sculpt in less time.
  • Blends & gradients — feed two colours through together for smooth Skinner-style colour blends.

About the Polymer Clay Machine

This is a hand-cranked laminating roller — the same principle as a pasta machine — built for conditioning and rolling polymer clay. Set your thickness on the side wheel, drop the removable crank into the matching hole, feed the clay over the 14 cm stainless rollers and turn. Out comes a flat, even sheet every time. It's the workhorse tool for anyone working with bakeable polymer clays such as Super Sculpey: sheeting for cutting and appliqué, conditioning fresh blocks, and mixing colours into seamless gradients. Quicker and more consistent than a rolling pin, and it saves your hands on tougher clay.

How it works

Clamp the metal clamp to your table edge so the machine sits firm. Turn the side wheel to one of the six thickness levels, slot the removable crank handle into the corresponding hole and turn clockwise. Lay the clay on top of the rollers and crank it through, stepping down through the settings for thinner sheets. When you're done, the crank pops off for compact storage.

What it's for

Made for polymer clay sculptors and miniature makers: sheeting, conditioning and colour-blending bakeable clays like Super Sculpey. Also handy for crafters working in polymer clay for jewellery, models and appliqué work. If you regularly roll clay by hand, this is the upgrade that makes sheets even and repeatable.

Good to know

This machine is designed for polymer clay. Sticky epoxy putties (such as two-part modelling putties) can smear and clog rollers — polymer clay is what it's built for. Keep the rollers clean between colours to avoid carry-over, and wipe down after use. It's a manual, hand-cranked tool — simple, robust and no power needed.
