Kolinsky Tobolsky sable round for watercolour. Fuller belly variant for maximum capacity.
The Da Vinci Maestro Series 11 is a variant of the Maestro Kolinsky sable round, offering a slightly different profile to the Series 10. Both use the same premium Kolinsky Tobolsky sable and German handmade construction, but the Series 11 has subtle differences in belly and taper that give it a distinct working character.
Like Series 10, this is a top-tier watercolour brush for serious painters. The Maestro range represents Da Vinci's finest work, and Series 11 provides an alternative feel within that premium tier. Painters often prefer one over the other based on personal touch and working style — both deliver exceptional quality.
