Vallejo Russian Thick Mud 26.808 is a water-based acrylic texture paste representing the dark, dense Black Earth associated with fertile ground in eastern Europe, Ukraine and southern Russia. Traces of vegetation give the material additional body for recreating accumulated earth on models and terrain. The permanent-pigment paste is supplied in a 200 ml pot and applied directly on the base. Its dense Thick Mud formulation needs longer to dry fully than other Weathering FX products.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
