A water-based polyurethane topcoat that protects finished paintwork with a subtle mid-sheen finish. The polyurethane resin forms a harder, more scratch-resistant film than standard acrylic varnish, suited to miniatures that see regular handling. The satin finish sits between gloss and matt — enough reflectivity to preserve colour depth without the pronounced shine of a gloss coat. A practical middle ground for display pieces that are also used in play.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
