Product Information

Vallejo Moisture Paper B90003 — Wet Palette Refill, 30 Sheets (SKU: VALB90003)

30 sheets of hydration paper for the Vallejo Wet Palette (Painter Size)

At a glance

30 sheets of moisture paper — the working surface of a wet palette and its main consumable, so it’s worth keeping a pack in.

Semi-permeable membrane — lets moisture rise from the sponge to keep paint workable, while staying strong enough for mixing and brushwork.

60 gsm, white finish — thin enough to transfer moisture, firm enough to handle, and white so it doesn’t alter how you read your colours.

Sized for the Painter Size tray — a straight drop-in replacement.

About this refill

Moisture paper is what you actually paint on in a wet palette: it draws water up from the sponge below so your acrylics stay at a usable consistency, and it’s the part you replace most often as sheets get used up or stained.

This pack gives you thirty fresh sheets of Vallejo’s membrane paper, cut to fit the Wet Palette Painter Size tray. Finished in white so it won’t tint your perception of the paint.

Good to know

This is a refill for the Vallejo Wet Palette Painter Size (B90001) — paper only, no tray or sponge. Lay a sheet matte-side down on a moistened sponge and paint on the satin side for the best moisture transfer.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
