Vallejo Liquid Metal Gold is a fast-drying, alcohol-based metallic paint intended for gold finishes on miniatures and scale models. Its isopropyl alcohol-based formulation gives the painted surface a high-gloss metallic appearance, and the colour can be mixed with other paints in the Liquid Metal range to adjust the resulting shade.

  • Use isopropyl alcohol only for dilution; water is unsuitable.
  • Brushes and airbrush equipment should also be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Comes in a 35 ml glass jar fitted with a safety cap.
  • Highly flammable; work with adequate ventilation.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
